We started writing about the lack of mental health and substance abuse treatment February and July of 2023. Now in 2025, we have created a 70 slide presentation looking at the state of homelessness in Athens-Clarke County to capture actual numbers of chronically unsheltered homeless on our streets, point-of-origin of those here and assess needs through a more comprehensive data analysis.
